Monthly Maintenance Tasks

There are areas of your house that need to be checked regularly to avoid breakdowns and costly repairs. Not sure where to start? Here are a few things that should be added to your monthly maintenance calendar:

Change Your HVAC Air Filters: Changing your air filter is extremely important and (depending on the type of air filter you have) typically needs to be done every month. Not only are clean air filters better for your overall indoor air quality, they can help your AC system run more efficiently.

Yearly Maintenance Tasks

While these areas of your home don’t necessarily need to be maintained each year, it’s a good idea to add them to the mix once or twice per year.

Dryer Vent Cleaning: Your dryer vents can become quite hazardous if they are too dirty and clogged. If your clothes aren’t drying, there’s a burning smell coming from your machine or if your dryer gets extremely hot, it’s time to have the vent cleaned.
